Most people dont differentiate between civil law and criminal law, partly because the majority of news coverage in the media is dedicated to criminal law cases. Most people have heard of a civil lawsuit, but they arent really sure how the two are different. Civil cases arent as widely publicized because they dont ever have the same dramatic punch that often comes with a big criminal case.

Spring, because it follows the starkness of winter and because of the abundance of new life, has become one of the most popular seasons for couples to get married. Plants start shooting up from the ground and animals of many different varieties begin to give birth more in spring than in any other season of the year. Getting married is a symbolic way to begin a new life as a couple rather than as two individuals. This makes spring the perfect season to celebrate new life in all its forms with weddings and spring & garden wedding favors.

Winter is typically a barren time of the year. The trees and plants have gone dormant, taking most greenery and bright colors with them. Areas prone to heavy snows in winter leave people seeing mostly white, with very little color to break it up. However, winter is also the season of several holidays, including Christmas with its red and green and silver and gold color pairings to make the mood brighter. Couples often choose to marry in winter and nearly all people celebrate the season with either a Christmas, Hanukah, or Kwanza party. People can celebrate any of these events and include winter wedding favors or Christmas party favors.

“Hot and bothered!” For most people these words create images of being twisted up in sheets, breathlessly reaching out to the one you love. For those with chronic illness, however, “hot” is more likely to refer to one’s thyroid condition, night sweats, or a heating pad on high. “Bothered. . .” Well, let’s just say when your body aches, everything makes you feel bothered: a cat that won’t move off your leg, a joint that continues to throb, and a husband that is able to snore through minor earthquakes. It can be hard to be romantic!
