We constantly come into contact with all sorts of aqquantance in out daily life. For many of them, their background would be unkown to us. With the current crime rate and with reports from the news, we can’t afford not to be careful with our dealings with them.
Fortunately, there is a practical and effective way for us to take some extra precaution on our own. It is to simply check out people by searching their Public Police Records. There are various related public records which are more specific in nature such as Arrest, criminal, Jail, Sex Offender, Inmates and Conviction but Free Police Records is a good category to start with.
100% of the arrests are documented and stick whether or not they lead to eventual incarceration. This applies for Military personnel as well. In this way, even acquittals, dropped charges, insufficient evidence and reasonable doubt cases and other prosecutions which fail to secure conviction are still produced.
All these are public records and they are available to every member of the public free-of-charge. It is mandated by law and they are broken down into many specific categories. It is not widely known, but a Police Records Search can be conducted without the involvement of the Police. That being said, Police Records can be retrieved through other state agencies as well or even be purchased from commercial record providers.
There are two versions of Public Police Records. The first one is directly from the government and is is usually granted free of charge.. Being free, they invariably fall short of expectations. The other version is fee-based. They are operated commercially and are typically of high professional standards. They charge their fees so they have no excuse.
