FISA, Your Civil Rights, And Bible Prophecy

Fisa:
FISA, in application, is a law that allows the government to essentially snoop on its citizens with blanket impunity. FISA is not a new act. It was first passed in 1978 during the ?Cold War? and proscribed procedures under which physical and electronic surveillance and collection of foreign intelligence information between foreign powers and agents of foreign powers (which may include American citizens and permanent residents) who are suspected of engaging in espionage and violating U.S.
The Reformed Fisa:
Among the recent so called FISA reforms is immunization for giant telecom corporations from prosecution for criminal behavior for unlawfully spying on Americans? even before 9/11. This immunity will have a chilling effect in two ways:
FISA’s Chilling Effect On Civil RIghts:
First it will manufacture a bulwark which will preclude Americans from ever ascertaining, as one author has said, “who arranged what for whom, what were the enticements, who was the kingpin in all this lawbreaking?” Secondly ,and maybe even more distressing is that it will produce an atmosphere where additional huge corporations, or even those not so huge, will be disposed to violate the civil rights of Americans with impunity as long as they are held to be collaborating with the Government.
Of the umpteen thousands of requests for wiretaps that the hush-hush FISA court has considered over the past 30 years, it has turned down only a very small handful - some suppose as little as 5. In times of an emergency, FISA allows the authorities to commence the surveillance before requesting court permission. It is, without question, intended to be among the major tools for carrying on domestic national security surveillance. Otherwise, it’s totally nonmeaningful.
FISA And The Revelation:
FISA is almost four decades old and until lately many people had not the dimmest idea that such a undercover organization even existed. Doesn’t this seem just a bit strange in free America?
The prophet, John, in the book of Revelation envisioned such a scenario, as America is becoming, as a frightening reality. He warned in strikingly accurate prophetic language of a time that even America, the great land of freedom, would ?speak? with a different voice, a voice foreign to the principles spelled out in its bill of rights. How many Americans would have believed that in America there would be a secret court?even before 911? Moreover who believes, even now, that for the prophecies of Revelation to be fulfilled virtually every principle of the U.S. Constitution will have to be repudiated in America; seems strange?STAY TUNED!
