Great Islands in the Caribbean

The Caribbean islands are a very popular tourist destination. People come here for the sun, beach and water activities. Most travelers come to these islands from the US or Canada. Many of these tourists come in large groups or package tours. The islands make people think about cool breezes, swaying palms trees, white sand beaches, crystal clear water rum and cocktails after sunset. The most popular islands in the Caribbean are Barbados, Puerto Rico, Saona Island, Haiti, St. John.
Barbados is a famous island. This former British colony is most popular for its white coral beaches, majestic rain forests, and tropical drinks and flowers. Its botanical gardens, museum, and old St. Johns church are the predominant tourist attractions in Barbados besides its beach. The island also boasts an active night life of singing, dancing, and drinking. Barbados is a great place to go relax and unwind from life.
Next up is the famous and energetic island of Puerto Rico. This romantic spot is great for newly weds and couples who wish to pamper themselves in luxury and comfort. The island has many great spas and resorts. The island is also really pretty and a wonder to explore. There is great wildlife, beautiful scuba diving, great hiking, and cool waterfalls to cool you down after a hot day. Additionally, Puerto Rico has a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant culture that enjoys dancing, partying, and celebrations. This is an island for people who want to have fun but also be surrounded by beauty.
If you are looking for a remote destination, you should head to Saona Island. Saona Island is part of the Dominican Republic. This island is famous and has appeared in a lot of Hollywood movies. The island has great wildlife and fish around it. You can swim and scuba dive as well as take a tour of the island on a catamaran. There are a lot of things to do here besides the beach so despite the island being small, you can stay busy.
Lastly, there is Haiti. Haiti was one the first independent nations in the Caribbean. Founded by Christopher Columbus, this island is lush with fruits and towering mahogany trees. Known as the pearl of the Caribbean, Haiti is also home to rare birds and species. Haiti also has exotic and mouth watering delicacies well known to tourists who gorge on the delicacies. The Citadelle is one of the most extraordinary structures in the Caribbean and a great thing to do if you get tired of the beach.
The Caribbean islands are a great place to travel to and vacation. There are many places to enjoy the sun and some relaxation.
