One of the biggest days of a girls life if her wedding day, but leading up to it requires some planning. So the date has been set and you are now ready to send out the invitations. Start with making a list of all the guests you wish to invite.
Every one including the family and friends of the groom and the bride are exited and anxiously waiting for their invitations, as want to get involved in the occasion.
One of the occasions leading up to the wedding is known as bridal showers and this is celebrated by giving the bride to be gifts that will help her with starting a new life. Bridal showers can be an enjoyable occasion, as gifts are given by guests of honour.
All the enduring happiness abruptly vanishes when writing appreciation notes comes to the forefront. Just stand out and look your best despite anything else as this is yet another reason to celebrate your happy occasion.
It is a good idea to invite only your closest friends and family to the bridal showers, as this celebration is the bachelorised party in preparation for the wedding. Also remember that the occasion is only for women.
You could either hire a hall or go to a nightclub, people enjoy dancing drinking, eating depending on how many people you invite. But make the event an enjoyable one by mixing it up.
An idea of a game that can be played at the event is to introduce a basket of items with 20-30 things. Then ask your guests to remember and write down what they say in 30 seconds.
Another fun game that can be played is, write the name of the bride to be at the to of a page and ask your guests to make as many words out of it as they can.
Myth has it that bridal showers began when a rich young girl wanted to marry a poor boy. Her father disapproved and declined to help them in starting a new life.
The whole tradition of bridal showers started when a rich father declined to help his daughter start her new life because she wanted to marry a poor miller. This was despite the fact that he spent his whole life helping others more needy then him.
