Top Arabian Party Theme Ideas

An Arabian party theme or an Arabian nights party is supposed to create a sense of mystery and intrigue around certain characters. These characters are kings, queens, princes, princesses and thieves.
You need to try and recreate the Moroccan desert. So you could hold your party at the beach, though this is not essential, you could have it in your back garden, but it is a night time party, not a day one.
You really should try and hire out a Bedouin tent for your Arabian party theme. They come in all sizes and shapes and you should find one to fit your budget. A Bedouin tent will succeed in creating a memorable party venue for you and your guests.
For your costume you could dress up like Aladdin or Jasmine. Think slinky harem pants, pointed slippers and turbans. Gold bracelets and jewelry for the ladies. Or as a thematic alternative go for a king, queen, prince, princess or thief.
If you have gone for the tent, most of your furniture needs to be as low down as possible, your guests will preferably be sitting on the floor. So get plenty of nice rugs and cushions. Get some patio lanterns and candles to light your tent and hang crescent moons and stars from the ceiling.
Some added optionals which would be budget dependant would be a hena artist, belly dancer, snake charmer, fortune teller or a fire eater. Try and get a goat too! Tie the little thing up to a post outside for authenticity.
Look into making some traditional middle eastern dishes for the food. Ideally, your party should be sitting on the floor on the cushions and rugs you have provided. Also, the food should be kept on platters on the floor, just let everybody dive in.
In Arabia, it is traditional before eating to bathe your fingers in scented water. For this, simply put a few drops of essential oil in a bowl of water.
