Once the person sends you a reply back, you can talk to him/her over the Internet to see how he/she is like. When you get to know the person better, you two can then decide on a time to meet. If you two meet and you do not like the person, you can always move on to another until you find the perfect match.
You are not the only one who will rely on a dating service for online dating. Online dating can also be rather simple, though you should watch out if you try to talk to a lot of people at once. Talking to that many people could be hard for you, and you probably would not be able to differentiate between the people you are contacting. Also, remember to always take your time when online dating.
