Why Have Counselling ? (Based on my experience of Counselling in Kettering, Northants. UK)

We all need help with aspects of our lives at various times. For instance:
- Do you feel under stress trying to cope with the demands of modern day life ?
- Do you need some assistance in coping with a difficult time emotionally ?
- Do you feel a sense of abandonment or loss ?
- Are you angry or violent to yourself or others ? Is it a struggle to control this anger ?
- Do fear and anxiety hinder you in life, and make it more difficult for you to achieve fulfillment and contentment ?
- Is there a problem in your life that is just too complicated to solve by yourself ?
- Are you trying to resolve a breakdown in communications in a relationship ?
- Are you locked into a downward cycle of depression that you just don’t seem to be able to break out of ?
- Would you like to learn a new approach to dealing with your emotions, behaviour and thoughts ?
- Would it help if someone just listened to you, empathised with you, and tried to understand things from your point of view ?
Nearly all of us could answer “Yes” to one or more of the above. Perhaps even other issues would come to mind after reading the above examples. An experienced counsellor like myself can help to provide an ideal environment for these matters to be discussed and resolved comfortably and confidentially, by being uninvolved, independant and non-judgemental.
Most genuine counsellors will be prepared to provide your initial consultation for no charge, giving you the chance to evaluate the potential benefits of counselling at no cost, or with no commitment to continue on your part.
You owe it to yourself to consider counselling as a possible way forward for you. Contact an experienced, qualified counsellor today, and book yourself that initial consultation.
